Automated DNA/RNA Sizing and Quantitation Method

The DNA or RNA is electrophoresed across a standardized polymer containing a molecule specific dye and normalization markers for reference.

The nucleic acid fragments are then detected by the instrument and the excitation of the dye is then converted into a monochromatic electropherogram and subsequently a gel image representation.

These electropherograms are then compared to a reference ladder to estimate size of each of the fragments.

Each platform has multiple outputs and fragment analysis methods to aid user sample examination.
